The CBS International Business School is a state-recognised, private business school with predominantly English-language courses of study and an international orientation. It is one of the pioneers of Bachelor studies in Germany and today offers a broad program portfolio of Bachelor's, Master’s, and MBA programs.
For the start of the semester in September 2022 we are looking for:
Lecturers (m/w/d) for the subject English for the Pre-University Foundation Programme (Frankfurt a.M.)
on a freelance basis
YOUR TASK:
- Teach English as a foreign language as a subject as well as further academic skills (mainly on campus)
- Preparing and correcting exams
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A university degree (ideally a Masters, but not a must), preferably in the field of English studies/English as a foreign language, or in a related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- Pedagogical, didactic and methodological competencies
- Several years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, preferably in an academic environment
- Experience with and an understanding of the German education system an advantage, but not required
- Intercultural competence & ability to work in a team
- Digital teaching experience and a willingness to teach digitally
